Put what you need beside your cue. Leave your book by the coffee cup, or your shoes by the door.
What added friction yesterday? Change one thing in your environment before your next attempt.
Use the smaller backup if you need it. If the usual plan works, keep it. No need to manufacture a difficult day.
Keep the same minimum today. You are testing a repeatable start, not trying to beat yesterday.
Name the cue, setup or support that made starting easier. Keep that part for tomorrow.
Keep, shrink or change the plan for next week. A missed day is information, not a reason to start counting from zero.
