Stable cue
An event, place or transition you can observe.
A strong plan names the cue, the smallest action and the response to a predictable obstacle. Build yours without creating an account.
Everything you type stays on this device unless you choose to copy it.
IF your stable cue, THEN I will your minimum action.
IF the predictable obstacle gets in the way, THEN I will your recovery response.
No plan data is sent to HabitLab or included in analytics.
“I will exercise more” preserves a decision for later. “After I close my laptop at 6pm, I will put on my shoes and walk for ten minutes” links an observable cue to a defined response.
Implementation-intention research has found useful effects in some settings, but it is not magic. One randomised physical-activity study found no overall effect at six months and a benefit only among participants whose intentions were unstable. Treat the plan as a testable design, not a guarantee.
An event, place or transition you can observe.
The smallest version that still points in the right direction.
The next useful response when the original plan breaks.
